The VELP SER 158 series extractor family is fully automatic. After loading the samples, we start the device, at the end of the extraction, the device signals and we can take out the sample.
We can determine all extractable substances (quantitative analysis) and carry out qualitative analysis of the extracted components (qualitative analysis, e.g. chromatography). The application is based on the Randall method, according to which the sample can be plastic or solid. Steps of the method: immersion, solvent removal, washing, solvent recovery, cooling.
SER158 meets all standard requirements (AOAC, TAPPI, UNI, EPA, APHA, ASTM, AWWA, WEF).
This method has two main advantages over the "traditional" Soxhlet method:
Due to the above, the RANDALL system extractor operates with significantly lower analysis costs than "traditional" Soxhlet extractors.
