Did you know that the original Finnpipette (Finnpipette®, or Labsystems pipette) was created by the founder of Biohit, Professor Osmo Suovaniemi, in the early 1970s?

The pipette family called Biohit Proline naturally bears the handprint of its creator and his significant experience in the field. The cone filter was introduced for this pipette, which significantly reduces the contamination of the inside of the pipette.

Biohit Proline has the main features of a real Finnish pipette (also known as an automatic pipette): accurate, reliable, easy to use. It has a tip-throwing mechanism and a numerical display that shows the set dosing volume.

A hydrophobic filter can be ordered at the end of the tip holder cone (a sample is in the box), which increases the life of the pipette. If necessary, the device can be calibrated and maintained without difficulty using the included "tool set".

Proline Plus pipettes can be adjusted in finer steps, are color-coded, and are fully autoclavable. The handling of these pipettes is much easier than the "basic" Proline, their use requires less effort from the operator. The tapered dropper neck enables sampling from narrow laboratory tubes. Equivalent left- and right-handed use.

Both types also have multi-channel (8 and 12) versions.

SARTORIUS bought this part of Biohit's business, so the pipettes are now under the Sartorius / Biohit name.
