The S series previously included 13 different sizes of ultrasonic baths, but the current production of the series is limited to 0.8 and 1.75 liter devices. They are available in both unheated and heated versions. The latter – the types marked with the letter 'H' – have a heating range of 30–80 °C. The current and desired temperatures are indicated by a row of LEDs on the control panel of the devices (exception: S10H).

Each water bath has a timer (0–30 minutes), but can also operate in continuous mode. The remaining time of operation is also indicated by a row of LEDs (exception: S10, S10H).

All S series units have two special functions: the Elma-developed “SWEEP” function for more even ultrasonic power, and the “DEGAS” function for degassing solvents and samples. Frequency: 37 kHz.
Most units are equipped with a drain cock. Options: plastic lids and baskets.
