Universal and compact stirrers with magnetic drive, expandable up to 30 positions. The Twister is basically a magnetic stirrer, suitable for orbital and vortex mixing with the attachments. For stirring up to 5 liters at a maximum of 3,000 RPM up to a viscosity of 500 mPas. Excellent stirring results in a short time. With a reverse stirring function, the device changes the direction of stirring at specific intervals, which leads to a significant improvement of the stirring result, especially in the case of difficult-to-stirr samples.
The Twister is available in sets with up to 4 positions, it is possible to create more positions with the Twister with article number 56.20112621. The parameters of the stirring positions can be modified separately and simultaneously. Depending on the number of stirrign positions, different power supplies are required:
Positions 1 and 2: Power supply in Twister set 1 and 2.
3 and 4 positions: power supply in Twister set 3 and 4, or TW. PWR.1
From 4 to 30 positions: TW.PWR.2, this power supply must be ordered separately, not included in any Twister set!
Intuitive and chemical-resistant LED glass display. The alphanumeric display easily conveys all information to the user. It is also possible to monitor the stirring speed, the power required for the stirring and the change in viscosity in % form during operation.
The stirrer detects the dishes placed on it, so stirring can be started by placing or touching the beaker in addition to the traditional button press.
It meets IP 66 protection class, so it can also be cleaned under the tap. It can be used in an incubator up to 40°C.
Thanks to the various attachments, the device can be used widely.
A 28 and 23 mm (TW.IX.28 and TW.IX.23) tube support attachment is also available separately for the attachment (TW.IX) for stirring small-volume vessels (Ø 23-28 mm, 8 - 60 ml), which prevents the vessels from tipping over during stirring. The use of TW.IX.ANTISLIP anti-slip plate packed with the tube support attachments is highly recommended for high speed stirring. Each of the 9 positions has an independent magnetic stirring point that provides powerful stirring for each sample.
With the TWVX attachment, the device can be made suitable for orbital and vortex shaking as well. With the MS 3.1 accessory belonging to the top, it is possible to shake test tubes with a diameter of 50 mm, and with the MS 1.21 accessory it is suitable for Erlenmeyer flasks of up to 100 ml. In combination with the STICKMAX II anti-slip plate, it can be used at a moderate speed for vessels up to 500 ml. Compatible with MS 3 accessories.
STICKMAX II anti-slip plate combined with the MS 3.3 universal attachment prevents the movement of the vessels (e.g. Erlenmeyer flasks) up to 500 ml during shaking.
