Spectroscopy is an ideal tool for quantitative analysis of genomic and proteomic samples. Perfect for PCR technology, cloning and sequence analysis, DNA determination, protein analysis and monitoring the growth of cell cultures.
GENOVA Plus includes all software required for ssDNA, dsDNA, RNA and oligonucleotide analysis.
One of the key features of the device's xenon lamp is that 40% of its energy is emitted below 400 nm, the maximum intensity is at 260 nm. Compared to conventional lamp configurations, this means 5-10 times more energy in the UV range, which provides a better signal/noise ratio for protein, peptide and DNA tests. When switched on, the device searches for the fixed emission lines of the xenon lamp and performs self-calibration at 247, 528 and 824 nm for optimal accuracy. By printing this, Genova complies with GLP requirements.
In the entire range of 198 - 1000 nm, scanning can also be performed with a bandwidth of 5 nm. In its permanent memory, the photometer stores all wavelengths, calculations and factors required for chemical analysis.
Number of storable methods: 314 (including those stored at the factory).
