The DK series devices of traditional Kjeldahl digesters manufactured by VELP guarantee perfect temperature homogeneity, the maximum temperature is 450°C. The temperature is regulated by microprocessor control. It is possible to set the temperature and time manually. The demolition process can be continuously monitored via the two-line LCD display. 20 pc 4-step programs can be stored, timings between 1-999 minutes can be set.

The digestions are available with three types of digestion tubes: 6, 8, or 18 pieces of 250 ml (Ø 42 mm) or 6 pieces of 300 ml (Ø 48 mm) digestion tubes, or 20 and 42 pieces of Micro-Kjeldahl (100 ml Ø 26 mm).
The individual devices are basically made with the "normal" model number for 250 ml tubes, such as the DK6. If the model number contains a fraction and an additional number, such as DK6/48, the number after the dashed line, here refers to the 48 mm diameter digestion tubes (300 ml).
The devices are available in a package, together with the accessories necessary for operation.
The fully automatic DKL series Kjeldahl block digesters provide extremely fast heating, which consumes 35% less energy than conventional digesters.
