Germany's LRT (formerly: VARIALUX) equips its circulation thermostats with newly developed thermostat heads.

The thermostat heads can also be purchased separately, and with the supplied holder, they can even be installed on their own baths.

LRT incorporates these thermostat heads into the circulators it manufactures.

The thermostats include devices for daily routine work and devices for special needs.

Characteristics of some types:

General characteristics of circulating thermostats type T100 / T150
The small, narrow and silent devices with LED displays are produced in two versions. Circulating thermostats are microprocessor-controlled devices with a digital (LED segment) display, a built-in timer and a touch-button control interface. The protection against overheating can be adjusted, the possible error phenomenon is accompanied by an alarm. These two thermostats differ in two parameters: the temperature range and the heating power (see the table below).

General characteristics of TC 150 circulating thermostat
Its controls are the same as those of the T100, but its temperature range is higher. Due to the greater power, the width of the thermostat heads has become slightly larger.

General characteristics of T200 circulating thermostat
LRT's state-of-the-art devices are circulating thermostats with PID (self-regulating) control and touch-screen, backlit graphic displays, which provide comfortable and uncompromising thermostats for all laboratory tasks. The control enables extremely accurate temperature control (±0.01 °K), even by using an external Pt100 temperature sensor. The device can store 2 pc 10-step programs. The modern thermostat clearly indicates any malfunctions. Water delivery: 8 liters/minute. The RS232 connector enables external software operation. The characteristic of the TC 200K type is the energy-saving cryo-cooling control.

General characteristics of TC 250 circulating thermostat
Its control and touch-screen controls are the same as the T200, but this device is equipped with a higher-performance pump for greater water delivery performance. Due to the higher performance, the width of the thermostat head has become larger. The T250 K type is characterized by energy-saving cryo-cooling control.

We recommend the T100 and T150 types for simpler and routine tasks, while the T200 and T250 thermostats are recommended for work requiring higher accuracy and a wider temperature range. The characteristic of the T200 K type is the energy-saving cryo-cooling control. Devices recommended for a maximum baths volume of 50 liters. Thermostats up to 100 °C can be used with water, thermostats above 100 °C can also be used with silicone oil. With the fixing element (37.33702056), the thermostat heads can also be installed on plastic or stainless steel baths. A wide selection of accessories is available, e.g. for external cooling and external thermostating tasks.
