In May 2016, the popular Memmert carbon dioxide incubators were renewed and equipped with a color double touch screen control system that meets the requirements of the 21st century. The main features of the new device family:
- Rounded inner corners. Design that ensures easy cleaning.
- Control power supply. Optional back-up power supply in case of power failure, which enables the registration of parameters as well as the regulation of CO2.
- Alarm functions. Visual and optical alarm when certain set limits are exceeded, even in the form of an SMS (option).
- Active humidity control. Optionally (option K7) a humidity range between 40 and 97% RH can be requested.
- Simple sterilization. Standard sterilization program 60 minutes at 180 °C, which does not require removing the internal sensors.
- FDA compatibility. FDA compatible data recording (optional) for registering temperature, CO2, O2 humidity and door opening.
New, small CO2 incubator: Memmert ICO50
The only 56 liter device is a new model in the range of Memmert carbon dioxide incubators. Both its design and control technology are the same as larger devices, so it provides a perfect solution for tasks requiring small samples at an affordable price.
