In the plant growing climate chamber (fitotron), the main environmental factors necessary for the growth and development of plants, temperature, light and air humidity, can be programmed and reproduced regardless of the weather, at any time of the year. Adapting to the environmental needs of different types of plants, the weather conditions of any part of the Earth can be produced from -20°C cold to +60°C hot. In the chamber, the effect of regulated factors on individual plant development, genetically determined properties and physiological processes can be studied.
The microprocessor control panel with LCD display (128 × 64 pixels) was built into the door. According to the purpose of the experiment, 10 nine-step programs can be prepared, which can be stored and reproduced. Sufficient light conditions are ensured by the programmable, integrated lighting on three sides (both sides and top). The side walls of the chamber are made of easy-to-clean stainless steel and glass plates. The humidity is produced by the built-in steam generator, which is regulated based on the adjustable altitude and the psychrometric diagram. The cooling system and insulation are CFC-free. Error-free operation is provided by a self-diagnostic system. The equipment is equipped with adjustable protection against overheating. Through its built-in interface, running and stored programs can be printed.
Using the optional NüveGrowth software, the device can be programmed and monitored via an external computer.
