CW-800 rapid water content and CO2 determination: system based on CS-580, but uses nitrogen as carrier gas instead of oxygen. The device is suitable for high-precision analysis of cement, limestone, gypsum, ore, minerals, mud and similar samples. The analysis is ready within 2-3 minutes.

CW-800M fractional water content and CO2 determination: basically a CW-800 device, but in addition to nitrogen, it also uses oxygen as a carrier gas. The main difference between the two devices is the speed of heating the oven. This device uses a step heating program, as the elements to be determined are released from the sample at different temperatures. The device is suitable for high-precision analysis of cement, limestone, gypsum, ore, minerals, mud and similar samples. The analysis is ready within 5-20 minutes.

The SurfaceC-800 is a surface carbon determination device: the device is also a slightly modified version of the CS-580 type. Application: high-precision determination of the amount of carbon on the surface of aluminum, steel, other metals, ceramics, and glass samples. Into the oven max. Fits a sample with a diameter of 32 mm and a length of 145 mm.

"The CW-800 is the perfect analyzer for the fractional determination of carbon and water in organic and inorganic samples. Typical applications include carbonate analysis in cement products or TOC (Total Organic Carbon) analysis in soil. The CW-800 uses a resistance furnace with quartz tube, applying a maximum constant temperature of 1,000 °C which can be set in steps of 1 °C. It is possible to use nitrogen or oxygen as carrier gas. During the combustion process CO2 and water are released from the sample into the heated quartz tube and are detected in two independent infrared cells. Customer-specific adjustments of the measuring range are possible for both cells. The typical analysis time for a 200 mg sample is about 2 to 3 minutes. ELTRA's CW-800 series uses combustion analysis for fractional carbon and water determination with different temperatures and gases. The instruments are equipped with a resistance furnace with a quartz glass furnace tube and apply a maximum temperature of 1,000 °C. Computer-controlled CO2 and water determination device with one CO2 and one H2O channel, resistance-heated oven, Typical sample: Cement, gypsum, lime, soil, minerals, mud and the like Measuring range for CO2: 0 - 70% CO2 Measuring range for H2O: 0 - 20% CO2 Oven temperature: can be set up to 1,000 °C, five temperature ramps can be set. Two gases can be connected: oxygen and nitrogen Burner/carrier gas: 99.5% (or 99.95%) pure oxygen, 3 l/min The carrier gas can also be nitrogen. Measuring time: 60 - 120 sec. (normally). Can be connected to an analytical balance or printer (options). Max. current consumption: 20 A (on one phase) More technical data in the brochure! Manufacturer: ELTRA (Germany)"
