Polyethylene-coated filter papers can be used to cover laboratory tables and shelves. Since the PE layer on the back side prevents the penetration of liquids, it protects the underlying surface from damage in case of accidental spillage of acids, alkalis and other liquid chemicals.

This heavy (120+20(PE) g/m2) and thick (0.244 mm) special filter paper can be ordered in sheets or rolled form in the following sizes.

Recommended when using hazardous materials.

It can also be used for seed germination (method between paper).
