RETSCH's new special sieving device is used to simulate manual sieving. The AS 200 TAP type device achieves this by moving the sieves in a circular motion and simultaneously tapping them from above. This type of special sieving method is used for some materials, such as activated carbon, spices, tobacco, metal powders, abrasive materials, cement, or even its standardized application in the classification of diamonds. The device is not suitable for wet sieving.

Sieves with a diameter of 200 mm or 203 mm (8") can be inserted into the sieving device.

A soundproof housing can also be ordered for the equipment if required. The device must be installed on a strong metal frame (with a thick worktop).
