Sieve cleaning after shaking is facilitated by special ultrasonic baths. Using the bath, even the smallest pore size sieve can be gently cleaned in minutes.

The high-frequency generator is approx. It produces a 35 kHz vibration, which is transmitted to the cleaning liquid. The energy density of the ultrasound field is so high that countless extremely small vacuum bubbles develop in the liquid, which collapse in microseconds and take the sample particles in the sieve with them.
