4, 6 and 8 channel semi-automatic, battery-powered capper and decapper. The compatibility of the four different versions covers all LVL screw-capped tubes. Each version covers 1 rack type. For the 96-position SBS standard rack tubes, two types of devices are available, one for external and one for internal threaded tubes. Ideal for laboratories that need to process several samples at the same time without full automation. The robust design and user-friendly operation are perfect for everyday use. The device has only 3 buttons for opening, closing and ejecting the caps. The different types work with the correct torque for the compatible tubes. Each position has a separate motor for opening or closing the caps.

Using the correct torque is very important for proper closure. Caps that are too loosely screwed on will not provide a leak-proof seal, while too much torque can damage the thread, which can also lead to an improper seal. The appropriate torque for each LVL tube has been determined based on the rack type (SBS 96 - 7Ncm, SBS 48 - 15Ncm, SBS 24 - 15Ncm).

Thanks to the integrated ejection mechanism, the entire cap opening/closing process can be carried out without human contact, which can reduce the risk of possible contamination.
