The SSM4 and SSL4 devices manufactured by Stuart perform a "see-saw"-like, rocking movement back and forth. The shaking tray of the device, suitable for slow, gentle but thorough shaking of cell cultures and other biological samples and diagnostic materials, is covered by an anti-slip silicone sheet.
The only difference between the two devices is size: the surface area of the SSL4 shaking table is twice that of the SSM4. Of course, its load capacity is also greater this way.
The shaking surface can be tripled with the optional tier system with 2 platforms. The raised loading surfaces are 125 mm apart.
The speed of shaking and the time of shaking can be changed. The digital display shows the shaking speed and the remaining time of operation.
