SYKAM's S 433 amino acid analyzer combines the latest high-efficiency liquid chromatography technology with the ion exchange separation method. This technique ensures the best precision, reproducibility and accuracy. More than 35 years of experience in building amino acid analyzers!
The device is suitable for the determination of physiological and protein-hydrolyzed amino acids, as well as biogenic amines and sugars, for which Sykam provides its own manufactured columns, eluents, reagents and standards. The device has an inert gas atmosphere, cooled reagent container.
The S 433 is a compact device with a modular structure, which consists of four main units - Amino acid reaction module, Reagent regulator, Quaternary gradient pump and the Automatic sample changer. The S 433 is the ideal device for research and quality control laboratories, whether in the field of food or pet food production or healthcare.
All parts in contact with buffer solutions and reagents are made of inert materials - PEEK, PTFE, PVDF.
Main features of the amino acid reaction module:
Quaternary gradient pump
It has an analytical size range for the delivery of eluents (0.01 – 10 ml/min, max. 400 bar). Specially designed two-piston pump for low pulsation. Among other things, the gradient profile can be seen on the graphic display. Programmable mixing cycles and rinses. Liquids are degassed in the built-in 4-channel vacuum chamber
Automatic sample feeder
With a large graphic display and keyboard, in which 120 sample containers can be placed on the refrigerated trays. Dosable volume: adjustable from 1-100 µl in 1 µl increments. Programmable temperature (5 – 70 °C), sample sequence and washing procedure. It can also be used as a conventional HPLC sample dispenser. Optional: pre-column derivatization. With the help of a programmable washing program, the entire injector system can be rinsed, in order to avoid cross-contamination of the samples.
Inert gas, cooled reagent grader
The buffers can be placed in 500 ml or 1 liter bottles in the Peltier cell-cooled storage. The solutions are stored in an inert gas (N2) atmosphere to avoid oxidation and contamination. Liquid level prediction of solutions.
Device control, evaluation
The device is computer controlled. Hardware control, data collection and evaluation are performed by the Clarity software. The software is user-friendly and easy to learn. The software is FDA-21 CFR Part 11 compliant.
